Laurie Hull- Director
I started my career as a marine biologist working on coral reef and lagoon ecosystems. I then became involved in the development of tropical marine fisheries and, later, in the management and delivery of wider natural resource projects. I then spent some eight years working in the field of enterprise and business development both in the UK and overseas.
I joined the Norfolk Sports Partnership in August 2005 and since then have been working with the Team and Partners to develop Active Norfolk into the organisation that will lead on the development of sport and physical activity in the county. I am passionate about sport and keeping fit and enjoy, badminton, tai chi, golf and walking.
Shelley Starkings- Project Officer
Originally Norfolk born and bred, I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in July 2005 with a Sport and Leisure Management Degree. During my time as a student I was employed in the sports sector on a number of occasions, working on summer sports camps, volunteering for the local council and as a receptionist on the indoor training courts at the Wimbledon Championships. I have also volunteered for a local company for the last 7 years, which takes groups of children on Outdoor Adventure Expeditions to Snowdonia, Isle of Arran, Italian Dolomites and Iceland.
